In my experience, colleges and universitites tend to be on the forefront of adopting technologies for educational purposes. Later, those same technologies trickle-down to K-12 institutions. Ah, if we could only charge a technology fee!
ReplyDeleteI like your idea of holding virtual conferences using this technology. In fact, over the past couple of weeks, I have used a form of conferencing software to participate in meetings to learn about the stimulus money we'll be receiving. It was a great way to get the information and have the option of asking questions without necessitating the expense and time to travel to Nashville.
